Denis Fedorovych was born in the city of Izyum, Kharkiv region.

In 1991, when he was 6, he moved with his family to the city of Siverskodonetsk, Luhansk Region. There he graduated from school No. 4.
He received his higher education at the V. Dahl East Ukrainian National University. In civilian life, he worked at the Sim-Tek company in Kyiv. He spoke English fluently, studied history, and collected coins.

On February 25, 2022, the man voluntarily joined the ranks of volunteers and stood up to defend the capital. He served in the 244th battalion of the 112th separate territorial defense brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

After the liberation of the Kyiv region, he went with his unit to other hot spots on the front.

"I love my son very much, no one can replace him for me. His heroism and devotion to the Motherland are amazing. He voluntarily went to liberate his mother and protect his daughters. There is no one better than him for his mother and daughters. And now he is gone. How can we live without him?", shared Iryna Grechishkina.

The defender was posthumously awarded the Order "For Courage" of the 3rd degree.

Denis was buried at the Berkovets Cemetery in Kyiv.
