Librarians of the humanitarian hub of the Siverskodonetsk community, together with representatives of the culture department of the Siverskodonetsk MBA, joined the grand opening of the festival of screen arts "Unbreakable Ukraine-2026"

At the end of February, it will be four years since the start of the Russian Federation's full-scale invasion of Ukraine. All this time, filmmakers and television professionals have been capturing a story that cannot be forgotten — a story of struggle, loss, courage, and indomitability.

It is these days that the festival of screen arts "Indestructible Ukraine-2026" is taking place in Dnipro - a large-scale cultural event that unites artists, spectators and all those who care about the theme of the resilience and indestructibility of the Ukrainian people. This year, the festival is held under the slogan "Light through Thorns: Four Years of Resilience" and is designed to affirm the strength of spirit of Ukrainians, the courage of defenders, medics and volunteers, as well as the importance of preserving national identity and statehood.

Librarians from the Humanities Hub of the Siverskodonetsk Community, together with representatives of the Culture Department of the Siverskodonetsk MBA, participated in the grand opening of the festival and its events. The event featured works in four categories: “Faces of the Invincible”, “Chronicles of Resistance”, “Art in the Trenches”, and “Home as a Metaphor”.

Participants had the opportunity to watch the festival films, talk to the authors of the works and the organizers of the event. The presented films deeply moved the audience, because each film is a living story of heroic resistance and the daily truth of war, recorded in the language of art.

Attending the festival became not only an important cultural event, but also an opportunity to support the authors and express gratitude to all who defend Ukraine - the heroes, dead and alive. Such events prove once again: culture is an integral part of our struggle, and art is a powerful tool for preserving historical truth and national stability.
