As part of the implementation of the National Strategy for Creating a Barrier-Free Space in Ukraine for the period until 2030, a Barrier-Free Map has been created in Ukraine. The Barrier-Free Map was developed by the Ukrainian IT company "LUN Misto" with the support of many partners, including the Ministry of Community and Territorial Development, the Ministry of Culture, Ukrzaliznytsia and other organizations. This is a joint project implemented as part of the initiative of First Lady Olena Zelenska "Barrier-Free is When You Can".
The Accessibility Map is an online tool that shows the level of accessibility of various facilities (educational institutions, medical facilities, parks, bus stops, etc.) for people with special needs. The map is interactive, it displays accessibility marks (barrier-free, partially barrier-free, barrier) and information about available barrier-free elements, which helps people plan their routes without obstacles. Currently, the Accessibility Map contains over 70-80 thousand facilities and continues to grow.
